Who should attend these events?
- Trainees: You are a trainee if you are enrolled in undergraduate or graduate level studies.
- Post-Doctoral Fellows: You are a post-doctoral fellow if you have finished your PhD and are currently have a fellowship position at an academic institution.
- Early Career Researchers: You are in the first 5 years after your PhD or post-doctoral fellow.

Mentor Meetings
Room: 401 Terrace
20, 22, & 23 September: 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
Meet with two mentors each day in small group mentoring sessions during the lunch break. You may choose to use your mentoring time to discuss balancing work and life, setting up a program of research, developing collaborative relationships, parental leave, and more.
Attendees can sign-up for one day only. Please select two mentors on the same day: one mentor for the first session between 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm and a second mentor for the second session between 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm.

Early Career Reception

Join your fellow early career attendees, trainees, IASP Staff, and members of the Local Arrangements Committee for fun and games in the Rec Room. Located just steps away from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the Rec Room is the place to let go, be playful and experience something new and exciting with your professional peers. With Canadian-inspired cuisine, virtual reality, video & redemption games, live entertainment, and more, The Rec Room is the ultimate gathering place to grab a pint, network, or just play.
The Early Career Reception will be free to all early career and trainee attendees. This optional event will be first come, first in as space is limited.
