Professor Supranee Niruthisard, BSc MD FRCAT

Supranee Niruthisard is Professor of Anesthesiology at Department of Anesthesiology, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital (KCMH) in Bangkok, Thailand, and a member of Pain Management Research Unit (PMRU) of Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University.

From 2013- 2018, Professor Supranee was President of the Thai Association for the Study of Pain (TASP) for two consecutive terms. She is a committee member of the Thai Sub-board of the Pain Management Examination Committee under the Royal College of Anesthesiologists of Thailand (RCAT); the Bangkok Anesthesia Regional Training Center (BARTC) under the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA), in conjunction with the RCAT; and the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) Committees on Committee (2019-2020, 2021-2022), Scientific Program Committee (2019-2020, 2021-2022) and Councilor (2021-2026).

Her special interests in pain fields are acute and chronic pain management, acupuncture analgesia, neuropathic pain and Quantitative Sensory Testing.
