Analysing Data from Registers: Avoiding Traps for the Unwary to Get the Correct Answer

This talk will address the methodological challenges in analysing treatment effects in populations which are not randomised. It will use examples from currently established registers to identify issues such as confounding by indication, collider stratification bias and immortal time bias and techniques to address them. It will provide examples helping the audience understand the techniques.
