I am a clinician scientist in neurology at the Spinal Cord Injury Center at the University of Zurich and a group leader and attending at the Stroke Research Center at the University of Bern in Switzerland. My research focuses on the diagnosis and managment of neuropathic pain after spinal cord injury. To this end, I am applying a multimodal approach including clinical electrophysiology and neuroimaging. I was born in Hamburg and studied medicine at the University of Heidelberg in Germany.
