Dr. Leigh Nattkemper is an Assitant Professor and the Director of the Clinical Trial Unit at the Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami. As part of the Miami Itch Center, her research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of and treating various forms of chornic itch. As a neuroscientist, Dr. Nattkemper specializes in neuronal pathophysialogy of itch, creating models of itch to use in clinical settings, and developing treatmenths for itch that target neuronal function.
