Dr. Forero M.D, FIPP. ASRA-PMUC is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at the University of McMaster, Hamilton, Canada. He graduated from Medicine and Anesthesia at La Universidad Industrial de Santander in his native Bucaramanga, Colombia. He moved to Hamilton, Canada in 2007 where he completed his two years fellowship program in interventional chronic pain management at the University of McMaster. He has created and coordinates the ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia curriculum for the anesthesia residency program at McMaster. He is a passionate interventional pain physician whose primary research interest topics are ultrasound-guided MSK /pain interventions and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. He is a national and international speaker fully involved in clinical research investigating The Erector Spinae Plane Block (ESP) block.
