BS in Pharmacy (2000), PhD from the University of Cádiz (2007) with Extraordinary Award PhD of Health Sciences. Full professor and lead researcher of the research group of Neuropsychopharmacology and Psychobiology CTS-510 (University of Cadiz). This research group is member of the Biomedical Research Networking Center Consortium for Mental Health (CIBERSAM) and the Biomedical Research and Innovation Institute of Cadiz (INiBICA). My research is focused on understanding the neurobiological mechanism of chronic pain and its comorbidities.
